Philips Heartstart XL Biphasic Defibrillator

Description

Introducing the Philips HeartStart XL Biphasic Defibrillator: Your Lifesaving Cardiac Care Companion

Portable and Versatile:

Weighing in at just under 14 pounds (6.35kg), the Philips HeartStart XL Biphasic Defibrillator is a lightweight powerhouse, ready to be transported swiftly to the point of cardiac care within a hospital. This versatile device combines the capabilities of both a manual device and an automated external defibrillator (AED), making it the go-to choice for the first responder, whether they are an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) clinician.

Guided AED Mode:

In AED mode, the HeartStart XL provides clear and concise voice prompts and text messages that expertly guide BLS users through the defibrillation process. Meanwhile, it continuously monitors and displays the patient’s electrocardiogram (ECG) to ensure comprehensive care.

Seamless Transition to Manual Mode:

When ACLS personnel arrive, the HeartStart XL effortlessly transitions from AED to manual mode, granting access to its advanced therapeutic features. These include selectable energy levels ranging from 2 to 200 Joules, optional non-invasive pacing, optional SpO2 monitoring, and synchronized cardioversion.

Key Features:

  • Manual and AED operation
  • ECG monitoring with pads or electrodes
  • Selectable limits and alarms
  • Electroluminescent display
  • 50 mm strip chart printer
  • Data storage/event summary
  • SMART Biphasic waveform for defibrillation
